Board Director Survey

An anonymous survey of current and former New Zealand non-executive directors, trustees and commissioners. About 15 minutes — there are no right answers.

Participant information

[DRAFT - supervisor/ethics to finalise] You are invited to take part in an anonymous survey of current and former New Zealand non-executive directors, trustees and commissioners. It explores how boards weigh competing interests and the role of AI and data tools in board decisions. The survey takes up to 15 minutes. Your responses are confidential and anonymous: we do not collect your name, IP address or any identifying information, and broad demographic bands are used so individuals cannot be identified. Because responses are anonymous, they cannot be withdrawn once submitted. Two short scenarios early in the survey are composites of real cases; this is disclosed before the later questions that name actual cases. There are no right answers. Data is stored securely in Australia (Sydney). Participation is voluntary and you may stop at any time before submitting. If you would like a summary of the findings, you can opt in at the end via a separate form that is not linked to your responses.
